Does it work if your leash plug is off center?
Yes, the board will hang slightly to one side but it’s hardly noticeable.
Can I use it with my leash on?
Yes! You can use it with your leash on, fins in and board bag on.

Will it hurt my surfboard?
No! The inside of the RipClip is lined with soft TPE rubber. The form compresses and creates a snug and protective fit around the tail of your board.
Will it work for my SUP, soft-top, or longboard?
It will work for most longboards. It is not designed to work for SUPs or soft top boards
How thick of boards will it fit?
The plastic cushion flexes open to fit tails ranging from 0.4-1.5 inches (99% of boards)
What is the maximum amount of weight that it can handle?
170 lbs.
What do you recommend hanging it on?
We recommend using a strong clothing rod like an aluminum or stainless steel rod. Please see the “How to Hang” page on our website.
